Meet Courtney:
Courtney began her executive search career at the beginning of 2008, working for one of the top accounting and finance search firms based in Chicago. In spite of a historically difficult period for our economy, her sheer perseverance and expertise resulted in the successful placement of many accounting and finance professionals for a variety of different clients that she built and maintained relationships with. These relationships include companies ranging from prominent Fortune 50 public companies to small, family-owned businesses. The companies Courtney worked with stretched across a variety of industries, including manufacturing, financial services, CPG, real estate, professional services, and non-profits. Prior to joining the recruiting industry, Courtney was a successful sales associate at a large marketing and publishing company in Chicago.
Courtney, an alumnus of the University of Minnesota, was raised in the Midwest. It was that traditional Midwest upbringing that instilled a strong work ethic and desire to advocate for others. Recently, Courtney found herself at a crossroads and decided to make “the leap” to start her own business. Although the urban lifestyle in Chicago was exciting, a warmer climate proved to be an appealing option and so she has recently decided to call Charleston, South Carolina home. In her spare time, Courtney enjoys cooking, traveling, reading, and spending time on the South Carolina beaches, which are some of the best in the country.
