Novus Advisors is an independent, fee-only, SEC-registered investment advisor based in Greenville, SC. Novus Advisors serves individual and institutional clients across the United States. As a fully independent firm, Novus takes its fiduciary role very seriously. Their investment advisors provide financial advice while making suitable choices for their clients, tailored to their individual situations and desires. Their team structure allows them to provide specialized advice for every dimension of their clients' financial lives. As an experienced ERISA 3(38) Investment Manager, Novus Advisors has vast knowledge of retirement plan structures, portfolio construction for retirement plans, and fiduciary governance.
Jennifer Belshe, a co-founder of Novus Advisors, is a Principal, Investment Advisor, and a member of the firm's investment committee.
Prior to the establishment of Novus Advisors, Jennifer held relationship and investment management responsibilities in the personal trust administration and wealth management divisions of global and regional investment firms.
Jennifer graduated from Wheaton College in Wheaton, IL with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business and Economics and a minor in Art. She attended Trust School and completed the CFP® professional certificate program at Boston University. She also holds her state Life, Accident and Health Insurance License.
In 2016, Jennifer was honored as one of Greenville Business Magazine's Best and Brightest 35 and Under, an award based on her impact in the workplace and in the community. In 2019, Jennifer was recognized by Upstate Business Journal as one of four women who are defining the future of banking and finance in Upstate, SC (“Primed for Success”). In 2020, Jennifer Belshe and Novus Advisors were honored as Eugenia Duke Women-Owned Small Business of the Year as part of the Excellence in Entrepreneurship Small Business Awards hosted by CommunityWorks and the Greenville Chamber. In 2021, Jennifer was a recipient of the SC Women in Business award (Integrated Media Publishing), Forty Under 40 award (GSA Business Report), Women of Influence award (GSA Business Report), Chief Financial Officer of the Year – Second Place award (Integrated Media Publishing), and was named to the Forbes Next 1000 list for 2021 (Forbes).
