Meet Stacey:
Stacey Gardin is a model and a photographer. She’s had her photography business, Smit’N Photography, since 2015. She is a graduate of The University of South Carolina Upstate where she majored in Communications and studied Spanish as her cognate. She studied abroad for a semester in Spain at the University of Salamanca. Stacey held the title of Miss Greenville USA 2013 in the Miss SC USA Pageant, where
she placed in the Top 15. In 2018 she secured studio space in the West Village Art District in Downtown
Greenville. There she operates under Stacey Gardin Portraits which focuses on Contemporary
Portraits, Personal Branding, and Headshots. She looks forward to continuing being a model and a photographer as they help her to be better in front of the camera as well as behind.
My name is Stacey Gardin and I’m a Portrait and event photographer. With Smit’N Photography, I offer coverage for workshops, seminars, luncheons, galas, private celebrations, and corporate headshots. For events, I specialize in providing a 48-hour turnaround so that you have your photos before the buzz has worn off. With Stacey Gardin Portraits, I invite you to spend your day in my studio to experience what it’s like to be a celebrity for a day. You get treated to hair and makeup and have a fully directed shoot to capture your legacy through portraits. I get the excuse that people are not photogenic a lot, and as a model, I know what it feels like to be on the other end of the camera. No one is photogenic, only comfortable in front of a camera, and that’s my job, not yours. Everyone deserves to exist in photos and I make it a point to get them in your hands with prints as well as digital copies.
